@Cougar Cat-Unfortunately for the Cougars the naysayers might also be called Realists. But I see you recognize the BYU defense has been nowhere to be found the last few games. And it appears they are especially ineffective against offenses like the Huskies, Aggies, and Hawaii. As big and athletic as they are I cannot figure out why they can't get some kind of a pass rush. It is like they play prevent the whole game. So forgive the negative observation, but it sure appears to be correct.

Unless the Cougs can bring some d-line pressure to bear on our friends from the islands then I'm afraid the naysayers here may turn out to be right. The defense hasn't shown us much over the last 2 weekends.

But if they do turn it around this could be a fun one to watch.

What is fact.......BYU has no home field advantage. Their few fans are very fickle and never cheer for BYU unless they score a TD in 4 plays or less. In my opinion, that would haunt me as a BYU football player. It bothers them for sure! The quietest place on planet earth is at LES in the 3rd quarter when BYU has been blown out.

    @ Blue Moon,

Would you take the Y -13 points vs Hawaii? BYU is a horrible team and UH can move the ball at will.

I have serious coin on UH + 13 points,......and there will be no wind at LES tomorrow night. UH will most likely cover the line.

I have been predicting 38-27 for Hawaii. But now that MacDonald is playing I am going to have to go with 45-24. Cougs are going to get spanked on their own field. Oh, wait a minute, thats what happened last week. LES no longer is protected. Spanked on your own field 2 weeks in a row, that may help the Cougars with their arrogance issue.

Eastcoastcoug, you're one of those, "the glass is half full" kind of guys aren't you. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Hawaii wins. Sure hope BYU's new QB does well.

The Rainbow Warriors are traditionally tough at home but really below average on the mainland. I will take the Cougars.

Whoever their QB is, I'm sure he'll look like an absolute genius playing against BYU.

Boberino - the rule changed as of last year, if I remember correctly. No more 6-6 or losing record teams in a bowl game.

    @ Naval Vet,

I played golf for UH back in the day........They are the "Rainbow Warriors" or "Bows".......not "Warriors" pards. I thought I'd correct you.......Gooooooo Utes!

I always thought six wins made a team bowl eligible. When did that change?

This is a difficult contest to wager on, but the wind should be calm, therefore Cole McDonald will most likely tax BYU's poor defense all evening long is my expectation. I like Hawaii + the 13 points. Gooooooo Bows!

Looking to see zone defense and a lot of yards put up by Hawaii. Chance of sacks or even pressure on Hawaii's QB are extremely thin...
