NO! The last olympics was a fiasco. Endless construction. scandals.
@ohbu"...I'd really like to see someone back up this claim.

the worst rated cities in America go and look at the list again. On Wallet Hub
the bottom 15 cities are all run by Democrats... I have names to support that

and only lists the bottom 10 and again, all are run by Democrat Mayors. The Best run Cities are usually smaller cities and again I followed the top

We need more traffic, winter pollution, and more taxpayer expenses why? We
don't even have the $ we need to maintain our national parks with current

In fact, using Business Insider's ranking of the US cities with the
strongest economies, the top 15 all have Democratic mayors. Using Fobes'
list of 15 strongest municipal economies, there are 3 Republican mayors. Salt Lake City is consistently cited as one of the strongest municipal
economies in the nation, and it has had a Democratic mayor since 1976.
Why does SLC get the say? The last time it came(yes it was called the Salt Lake
Olympics) It was held through out Northern Utah. There is NO WAY SLC could
handle it by themselves! If Utah wants the Olympics, fine. But SLC should not
get to drag everyone into something that big!
Mitt won’t be available to bail out this one. Best to get pros involved
now. Looking forward to the giant scooter slalom.
I don't really care what mayor Jackie wants. I don't want to deal
with the Olympics again. It should be put up for a vote by the people of Utah.
I think the wealthy business owners in Salt Lake City and the people from Park
City are the only ones interested in the Olympics coming back to Utah.If the people of Utah support it then I will live with it. But I don't
think a majority of people that live in Utah want to see it again.
Oh Jackie... If she's the one that is pitching anything out of the confines
of her own peer groups in SLC you can pretty much count on the fact that she
wasn't persuasive or even liked. Those who don't want the Olympics
here should all get together and throw her a thank you party. Her
administration has continued the steep downward spiral that we see in SLC today
with the Homeless, the under-performing economy, Jails, Schools, city cosmetics
(you name it and I can assure you that it's worse today than when she was
voted in and it was bad then) . She is working hard to make sure that we become
one of the nation's worst urban cities outpacing other liberal strongholds
such as SF, LA, Seattle, Portland, Detroit, Chicago, Baltimore, etc.It is proven that Democratic Management of our Local Governments across the
country has been nothing but a Disaster.
How is Ms. Mayor planning to pay for the Olympics coming here?
@No One Of Consequence Yes.
Am I the only one who thinks having the Olympics here again is a bad idea?
Why does it seem that most times we hear about Biskupski, she's out of
town? Her departments are a mess, her decisions, while she's here, are
questionable and she is has no plan. She'll be a one term mayor.
