The biggest problem with Utah tonight was two targeting calls that took two of your better defenders out, horrible offensive play calling and Huntley was as terrible as Mangum was last year. With a week off, Utah has two weeks for Moss to heal up and prepare your next starting QB. Funny how different things look three weeks into the season.

    A few observations.
Utes played above their ability. Washington is not a top ten team, maybe in the 20's somewhere. If they are the pride of the pac it is time to rethink the p5 designation.

Yes, it was definitely the refs fault, not. It was the disaster known as ute football. Kudos to Hansen and Covey for at least putting it all on the line.

Count down to our 11th OC has officially begun.

Gaskin 30 carries 143 yards 4.8 per carry.

Moss 13 carrirs 62 yards 5.2 per carry

Huntley 10 carries 12 yards (not including the 28 yards he broke early).

Moss had 0 carries in the 2nd quarter, 5 in the 2nd half.

Utah's offense went from abysmal in 2016 to a joke 2018. Huntley isn't any better this year, I think he's worse.

The PAC 12 South is terrible,

    2-4 this week,

with the only 2 wins coming against 1-AA teams.

The only thing blacked out in this game was Utah’s offense...

for the 2nd week in a row.

Huntley just lost his starting job.

    FIRE TROY TAYLOR

Utah shot themselves in the foot, but the terrible play of Huntley killed the Utes.

Chris Petersen has Whitt's number. Always has.

The fact that the little red engine that could still has a chance with 1:28 left speaks to the quality of PAC-12 football

The only other game I can think of to compare to the blood boiling frustration of this one is 3 or 4 years ago when the Utes blew a 21-0 lead and lost at home to Washington State. This was a pathetic outing in every single regard. The defense was pretty good, but not great. Might have said it was really good if it wasn't for the ball jumping out of Tonga's hands on an easy pick 6.

This team is pathetic. 0% chance of winning the South, despite probably being the 2nd best team in the pathetic South.

That commercial that's played 59 times tonight about the gaffe play 'that's going to be on SportsCenter' - Tonight's crimson highlight reel is being used to record about 12 more just like it.

Obviously, Troy Taylor could not get the job done tonight.
    Terrible play calling.
    The offense looks awful.

Turn over on downs in the red zone twice in a row. Devastating. I predicted Utah had this one at home.

No good when the ESPN commentary calls the Ute offense 'inept'

So this is the quality of Pac-12 football? How utterly embarrassing. Whitt should just go ahead and turn in his paycheck if that's the quality of P5 football he's coaching up on the hill.

We can talk all we want about the refs no doubt. But this Utah product is a joke. At what point do we recognize that Utah will never, ever have an offense under Whittingham?

    Somethings got to change.

Just watched another dropped pass. This time in the endzone on 4th and 1 from the 2...after a pick 6 jumps out of the hands of Tonga. This is by far the most pathetic, insanely frustrating I have ever watched

What a horrible job done by officials in this game!
PAC-12 apparently wants to protect UW for a play-off spot.

  • Red_Blooded Layton, UT

The pac 12 is so rigged. Just because they think that Washington has a better chance to play in the playoffs they get the refs to favor them. The call on Blair was ridiculous and then the no call on defenseless covey? This conference needs to be investigated by the NCAA.

    Unbelievable play calling.
What happened to running the ball with Moss?
