Dear Lord, please protect the Jazz against the injury bug...

Sports Illustrated speculates Mitchell could become “Utah’s most beloved and decorated player since Stockton and Malone.”

Uh, Donovan Mitchell already is the most beloved player since Stockton and Malone. No one has had anywhere near the impact and he's done it all in just over a year.

He also accomplished something else I didn't think was possible, he washed away the memory and pain of GH leaving for Boston and it only took him 3 months.

Can you imagine the thunderous roar that is going to be heard at Vivint Arena the first time Donovan Mitchell stutter steps, crosses over or spins by GH for a high-flying dunk or score?

I can't wait to see what Donovan does in his second season with the Jazz.

This is a nice article, but the fact is the Jazz tied the Houston Rockets for the best record in the NBA last year, after the All Star break. If the Jazz can keep that same focus, and stay injury free, they are going to be a team to recon with, unlike just a few years ago, when other teams could just about count a game with the Jazz as a win, Also, considering how Rubio had the best season of his career, and actually developed a decent outside shot, and Favors is really coming into his prime, this will be a fun, fun year.
