“My take is Huntley is a mid-level quarterback, not one who can lead them to a championship season. So, why not give Shelly and Tuttle some experience to see if they have that ability.”

Take away the 3 drops/1batted ball & TH passes for a roughly 75% completion rate & 300+ yards.

He had 4 plays he held the ball too long.....That’s 4 of 59 plays he was responsible for where he chose incorrectly.....Roughly a 93% correct-choice rate.

W/our putrid OL play, no way JT/JS surpass/equal TH’s production.

    Go Utes!

Unlike the doom and gloomers, I think it can still be a successful season for the Utes, but I don't believe the shortcomings of the O-line and QB can be rectified in one week.

I’m going with: They we’re looking past NIU for WA. Utes always play good teams well. We need a break or two to win. Moss needs to be a punishing runner and Huntley needs to get rid of the ball. Defense will NIT Browning two times. FUN Saturday ahead.

We have on here one byu-p fan claiming UW’ll “steamroll” us & one U fan claiming we get “worked” by them.

Awfully difficult to arrive @ such a drastic conclusion 1.) w/our D & 2.) how our last 3 games against UW have gone, the last of which occurred up there @ their place w/TH & virtually the identical O-Line.

Possible? Anything is possible, either way.....Likely? Absolutely not.

UW’s O wasn’t exactly overwhelming for most of their home game against UND yesterday.

I suspect we’ll most likely witness a defensive-slugfest this Saturday than anything otherwise, these visceral proclamations notwithstanding.

    Go Utes!

The Utes have a good track record of bouncing back after shaky starts to the season...but not in week 3.

We'll figure it out at some point, but we're gonna get worked this week.

Now for real football! 9 weeks (10 with a by in 2 weeks) of straight PAC-12 opponents. And we play the toughest conference schedule - including the top 3 teams from the Northern Division. Stanford did their part to help us. They defeated USC and Stanford is the only one of the top 3 teams in the North that USC plays so now it is entirely up to us. Each game will affect where our standing in the conference will be and if we become bowl eligible and if so to which bowl we will be playing. What a season! Bring it on! (And let's hope last nights play was an aberration to the rest of the season.)

Confident about a bounce back? What makes him confident about that?

I'm more confident of Utah getting steamrolled the next few games. Come on Whitt, wake up!

    Bounce back...they wil.
    QB needs better protection.
Huntley needs to throw or rid the ball earlier also.

It will be a very difficult game.
But a very good game for the Utes!
