Got to meet Karl Urban and David Tennant. Both were pretty great. Was most impressed with Brent Spiner, who I only saw while standing in line. He was on outside of the tables where he could talk closely with fans. He took extra time will all and made it a real personal event for all. Classy.

Karl Urban responded to my daughter with a joke about Hollywood making horrible sequels, yet would not do one for Dread. Really funny guy.

Overall though the even seemed less organized, more chaotic than the last few years.

Too bad the comic book mike TVs of this generation don’t feel the same way about our real heroes in the military.

Meeting some celebrities can be quite inspirational. My daughter is deaf and on meeting Lou Ferigno, who is hard of hearing, and learning how he overcame his disability and accomplished so much, kept saying over and over, "I can't believe I met someone famous who's deaf just like me."
