    Mia did some serious violation of the FCC rules with regard to illegal campaign finance funds. To the tune of a million dollars. Now, she fighting to not have to pay it back.

    This is not walking a higher moral road. It is following the poor example of many other Republicans in Washington.

    The midterms are a chance to say no more of the usual in Washington. We need to clean up the swamp.

    It puts a lot of pressure on Dems to show they can offer something different than a swamp. Dems could show they are now the party of fiscal responsibility.

    @one old man:

    2. A vote for a Democrat is a vote for Democratic Socialism. ( Work to together to use our resources to impoverish ALL Americans, not just a select few. )

    There. Fixed it for you.

    Socialism doesn't work, and can't work.

    You must allow profits or people will not start useful businesses.

    Privatize business, and you get what Venezuela has. They can't even feed their people anymore. They *used to* be able to. But then they socialized the farms and now produce only a fraction of what they used to.

    Yeah, capitalism has flaws. People with good ideas who take risks sometimes get rewarded with a LOT of money.

    And yes, we can (and should) stop socializing risks while privatizing profits. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac should be bankrupt and gone.

    But the answer is not socialism, unless the question is "What economic system caused the most misery in the 20th century."

    "A vote for a Democrat is a vote for Socialism."

    Let's make some corrections there :
    1. A vote for a Republican is a vote for Republican Socialism. (Socialize expenses and privatize profits.)

    2. A vote for a Democrat is a vote for Democratic Socialism. ( Work to together to use our resources to help and advance ALL Americans, not just a select few. )

    According to her own campaign commercials, the biggest (only?) accomplishment Mia Love has achieved is helping an irresponsible guy get released from a foreign jail.

    Not enough!

    My comment unfortunately was not approved because I referred to Mia Love's ethical lapses; thus, I will not make this mistake again. Instead, I will wish Love well in a tight race notwithstanding any shortcomings she might have.

    The Republican budget that saved our economy during Clinton's years was vetoed by Clinton and passed by the Republicans over Clinton's veto. Clinton and the Dems take credit for what the Republicans did.

    @wer;
    "No matter how good a man McAdams might be, should he, unfortunately get elected, the Demo Party bosses will usher him behind closed doors and give him their mantra right between the eyes. Not following party dogma will be political suicide.
    A vote for a Democrat is a vote for Socialism."

    I have a good idea from where you get your information. However, you're wrong. The last 2 strongest, Capitalistic economies have been when Clinton rebuilt what Reagan and HW. Bush ruined, and then Obama's after he rescued our country from the Great Recession caused by 8 years of Bush and Cheney. I know that doesn't fit your narrative, but you can look it up.

    The poll has a margin of error of 4.9%; they are statistically tied. No one is up. As such, it mean whoever gets their voters to the polls wins.

    At this juncture in the political arena, there is virtually no middle ground. With the Democratic Party leadership sliding further toward socialism, the only real option for those who love the Constitution is to keep the Republications in office.

    No matter how good a man McAdams might be, should he, unfortunately get elected, the Demo Party bosses will usher him behind closed doors and give him their mantra right between the eyes. Not following party dogma will be political suicide.

    A vote for a Democrat is a vote for Socialism.

    I will vote for McAdams. He may be registered as a Democrat but in reality he seems to me to be a Reagan Republican. Also, I think Mia Love has been in long enough. Time for someone new, voter term limits, its time and Mia can move on to her next thing.

    Opportunity for change.
    Someone willing to stand up to Trump when he is wrong. Willing to listen to and meet with constituents that pay their salary and benefits.

    People need to vote country over party.

    Even though McAdams is a credible candidate, fact is, this is a one party Republican state which loves Donald Trump! I will vote however even though it's hopeless here.
