Approximately 110,000 attendees in three days, once again maybe you should not presume to speak for what’s “really wanted here.”

John Charity - that's an odd comment since this is one of the most well attended comic cons in the country. It really seems it is wanted here despite your opinions to the contrary. Not only that, but in Davis county you won't even know it's happening. I have not been to Salt Lake Comic Con, but I think it's great to have in Utah.

Funny, I had not read about the sexual harassment issues till today when I went back and read past articles about it. I really hope Mrs (probably Mizz) Hale chose to "sit this one out". What a problem causer. She started the controversy when a friend and fellow author kissed her on the cheek (which is only considered sexual harassment by the most liberal of feminist groups), and she decided to be offended. There is no mention anywhere of anything more than that. Then she tried to force SLC CC to "change" it's policy. Why does a Comic Con need a policy. Don't we already have laws in place? Then she tries to publicly shame SLC CC when they nicely tried to disinvite her.

I work in Europe and get kissed on the cheek all the time by men and women. Not once did I think it was more than a friendly greeting. Some people don't know how to admit they are wrong.

The number of authors seems to be down this year, particularly the best selling authors. I have to wonder if the Shannon hale incident is reason

FanX should have ceased operations when it suffered the set backs mentioned in the article. The reality is that it is not really wanted here anyway.
