    @Thomas Jefferson

    Casey appears on the KSL morning news. He does special interest spots and is an engaging and funny personality. I particularly enjoy his “Random Acts of Casey” segments. That said, DUI is a serious offense and given this is his second arrest in 3 years, he needs some serious help before he hurts or kills someone. Hopefully he will get the help he needs.

    12 steps and the Higher Power and the Number 3 of the 12 step program is a guaranteed way back. Pray for you brother.

    In 2015 his "impaired driving" was pleaded down from an actual DUI. He got a break that he obviously didn't learn from. What was his BAC? There should be sliding penalties based on BAC. A person at .08% should be sentenced different than a person at .28%.
    He could've killed people. No leniency this time. He needs jail and rehab to get his life straight.

    Second offense? At least a month in jail.

    Also I have never heard of this 'longtime' local radio personality. Is he on one of these right wing talk shows?

    No, no, no! Not cool, Casey! Placing people's lives at risk like that? Get help! Stay off the roads!

    I’m wondering why a first DUI offence is still a misdemeanor? These things should never be treated so lighly. Also, why is a second offence for the same crime, not a felony? I hope whatever punishment he get, helps him get sober for good.
