I’m adopting a wait and see attitude toward this. But the fact that he
didn’t get up in coaches faces and demand more playing time against Weber,
while screaming that the Utes are lucky to have him and that he can “ball
anywhere” shows real signs of growth and maturity. Let’s hope that
continues when he sees some adulation and some on field success. This kid has
been given an amazing second chance. I hope he realizes it.
I hope things go well for Bernard at the U. Second chances are hard to come by
so I hope this works out for both him and the Utes. Hard work coupled with a
second chance can go a long way. As the competition gets tougher,
