    @slcftball:

    I don't think it has anything to do with "ducking" anyone. I think it was Dr. Hill being stuck with his ABC theory and not budging past that.

    Let's hope that Mark Harlan is more forward thinking in his views on scheduling. Utah has Baylor coming up for a couple of years. Let's hope that is the start of a different view to scheduling the OOC, at least a re-think of what an "A" team is.

    Go Utes!

    re Who am I Sir

    funny how the spin on your post is N Illinois as a quality opponent. Other schools you listed this week are playing big ranked teams in their out of conference games...Utah usually ducks the tough guys until conference (including scheduling a weaker BYU).

    Would like to see them play a Notre Dame or Auburn or Wisconsin. Not always Idaho State, S Utah and Montana Tech.

    Just saying as a fan the preseason is usually weak city. Lets get some big boys Utes!

    2019
    BYU
    N Illinois
    Idaho State
    etc...

    Wow, week two and some big games!
    Colorado vs Nebraska; Arizona State vs Michigan State; UCLA vs Oklahoma; and Arizona vs Houston. Good luck to all PAC-12 teams.

    USC vs Stanford: the biggest game this week is the in conference battle between two nationally ranked teams which are expected to contend for the two division championships. As a Ute, I say, "Go Stanford"!

    Utah: the biggest game of the year (the next one) Northern Illinois. Let's go into the third game of the year with a two and zero record!
