“Isn't he the one who muffed a punt?”

He didn’t cause the fumble.....But you already knew this.

You’re such a clever little silly goose, you.

    Go BC!

    Go Utes!

Covey is a stud. HECK of an athlete, and as humble, and as much of a team player as you could ask for. I can't believe that not only does he show no rust from 2 and a half years away, he actually looks better!

Covey, quick as a quail, smart as a quail, fast as a quail, loyal as a quail. The guy is just amazing. As I've said for well over a year, he's my favorite player in the great state of Utah. Wish he was at my school. With his moves he doesn't have to try to run through tacklers (would-be tacklers), he just jukes them out of their shoes and continues on his way.

He is the difference-maker on this team.

    @GettinOld

"However, his grandfather must be rolling in his grave knowing Britain is playing for the Utes. Oh well, BYU had their chance."

His grandfather got his Bachelors Degree from Utah, Masters at Harvard and Doctorate at BYU. I hardly think he is "rolling in his grave." Pretty sure he is more a fan of his grandson than any of those schools.

Will there ever be a time when there is an article about Utah football where no Ute fan references BYU? Probably not.

The guy simply electric. So good to have him back in the fold. It adds an extra element to the offense which is been missing.

It didn't take long before Covey starting adding to his highlight reel again. Wow. Great run.

His glove dropping sweep was cooler than the other side of the pillow. Welcome back kid! You are a joy to watch play.

Covey had a great game and lived up to his preseason hype.

The big question is at 5-foot-8, 170-pounds, is he durable enough to last the whole season.

    Covey is amazing.

I just wish he were 6 inches taller...but then he might not be as amazing...nevermind.

It's great to see Britain do well. However, his grandfather must be rolling in his grave knowing Britain is playing for the Utes. Oh well, BYU had their chance.

Demari and Siosi are special players.
    Covey is too.
Despite some hiccups in the first game of the season, I have no reason to fear that our receiving corps is anything less than advertised.
