I just love that many people still believe the push from Republicans in the 80's and 90's about Democrats just wanting to Spend, Spend and Spend.

There is ample evidence over the last decade at both the local, State and Federal levels to show that this is false and that it is the Republicans that just want to Spend, Spend and Spend.

Both of the last SL County Mayors have been Democrats and both have been more fiscally conservative than the Republican Mayors and the Republican Councils. They have vetoed spending and tax increases.

At the State level, the Democrats are only for tax increases for schools or healthcare. Republicans however want increases for roads, schools and other infrastructure but not healthcare.

At the Federal Level, Democrats were the ones that suggested the Sequester to hold spending in place. Republicans were the ones that complained and wanted to spend more. Democrats also agreed to cut spending at a rate of $4 dollars for every $1 dollar of tax increase. The increase would have only affected those making $250K or more annually. Again, the Republicans blocked it.

So maybe we should stop the Spend, Spend and Spend Republicans.

I don't want to get on the McAdam's bus nor do I like him running our county. I am on the Mia side of this race all the way.
McAdam will only want to spend, spend and spend some more we need to get fiscal conservatives back in Washington and if they aren't available then the next best thing would be the most conservative person on the ballet and McAdam isn't that person.

Instead of spreading FUD (fear, uncertainty, & doubt) about Ben McAdams, maybe you should take a look at his fiscal record as S.L. County Mayor (i.e., look at his proposed budgets). Honestly, he is pretty fiscally moderate/conservative, and isn't afraid to cut programs that aren't a good use of taxpayer dollars. He has a strong record of bipartisanship and working across the aisle.

I think it's pretty simple... If you like where our country is going. vote Love. She supports Trump in almost everything he does. If you don't, vote McAdams. He seems to not tow a party line, but I believe would work against many of Trump's initiatives.

The kid at the end, and his hokey "Aw Yeah" spot, makes it seem like a Chuck A Rama commercial. But, hey, this is Utah. If you can make the point that you have lots of kids and don't shop on Sunday's, you'll look favorable to the majority of Utahn's, no matter your political contributions or actions.

I wonder how Mr McAdams feels about the socialist stance of Cortez and Sanders and many in the Democratic Party, who support destroying capitalism."

I don't know. Probably about the same way Love and Hatch feel about Trump selling our country out to Russia, separating children from their families and generally ignoring the Constitution.

Utah democrats always claim they aren’t really like democrats in other states. So one has to ask, why be a democrat in the first place?

New parks! New schools ! Free education! Free food for the homeless!
    Sanctuary Cities! Open Borders!
"We'll raise your taxes back up to where they should be!"

Saw part of the commercial, but missed the part where the homeless guy thanks McAdams for driving him into a better neighborhood. That was in there, wasn't it?
