Soozie --- You have to have a crime to Impeach a President -- What is the impeachable crime ? Do you want another investigation in search of a crime, like the one already ongoing ?

Your Father Ted couldn't unseat Hatch and you are wasting your time trying to defeat Romney.

Now is not the time for liberal/socialist dems to lead our Nation, they've done enough damage.

Over the course of several weeks, I wrote Jenny two emails about a local zoning issue. I finally got a message back that was written in a format that a high schooler (no offense) might have used. I replied to her questions and I asked several more. At this point, I have heard nothing back.

So, "coming out of hiding" would be a good thing for her to practice.

Hopefully, after Romney wins this election, she will have used up her time in a county position.

What is Ms Wilson going to do for us, Utah voters? That’s what I want to hear or read about. But, I give her credit for trying. So far, it seems she parrots the usual Democrats talking points, which includes reversing the tax cut that gave me more of my hard earned money.

Glad to hear you support big tax cuts for the millionaires and billionaires so you get that extra $1.50 a week in your paycheck.

Glad to hear that you support Trump's accelerated increase in the deficit by giving tax breaks to the rich and corporations and increasing spending.

Try that with your own finances and let us know how that works.

Please tell me how as a Senator your going to lower the unemployment numbers for Americans, especially for blacks, Hispanics, Asians, women, and legal emigrants.

Tell me how you will raise GDP to higher levels.

Tell me how you will fix the bad trade deals with other countries that have imposed tariffs against our goods but demand we take their goods tariff free .

Tell me how you will reduce the middle Americans family's taxes.

Tell me how you are going to reverse the mistakes and costs buried in Obamacare.

Tell me how you are going to actually stop criminal illegals from coming into our country, and how you are going to get rid of the violent, murderers, rapists, and thieves that are illegally here.

Tell me how you are going to negotiate with our country's enemies that want to kill us, or destroy us.

Tell us how your going to lead us and congress for the next 8 years without taking our rights away.

Tell us how you will move the Democrat party away from the extreme left and more to an acceptable moderate position.

Tell us how you will disparage and denounce the violent rhetoric of both parties, how you will bring peace back into politics.

Mr. Romney's views are already out there for any informed and educated person to read/study. Ms. Wilson is trying desperately to do anything to get her name in the headlines and the only way she can do it is to round up some immigrants to stand behind her for a photo shoot and tear-filled, sound-bite event.

@ worf, you miss the point. Wilson is trying to engage in a discussion of the issues for the benefit of the voters. It's about making sure the voters are well informed and can assess the candidates on the issues. Romney doesn't want to engage. It is for that that he deserves criticism. To attack her because of that is one reason the voters are so uninformed and make decisions for reasons that do not relate to policy.

Utah been a Republican Dominated stated since the 70's maybe longer no democrat wants to run here, and the democrats we do have act more like republicans. So when people blame Utah Liberals and democrats for the issues Im alaways amazed since 90% of Utah is Republican.

"Requests for comment from Romney representatives were not returned early Thursday afternoon" ............ If Romney is elected i expect to hear these words a lot more. On the other hand, Ms Wilson couldn't be running in a worse state if she expects her immigration reform to float with Utah voters...

I have a hard time understanding how Utah voters especially Mormon’s support and vote for Trump and what he is doing. As a member of the LDS church, he is against everything I have been taught and believe in. Wake up and stop voting for candidates that just have an “R” by there name. Romney is just as bad as Trump.

Insults and sarcasm are used by low information folks because they can't intellectually defend their position.

Perhaps some voters can only make a decision based on who insults the most, bear false witness, and uses the greatest amount of sarcasm.

Reading all the posts thus far, it's quite clear that Utah voters have settled in to vote party over country no matter what. People posting here are dead set against learning anything about the two candidates running, and just bad mouth or praise one party or the other. I'm saddened by just how far our nation's voters, especially those in Utah, have degenerated.

Campaigning on the issues, Jenny calls out Mitt for his stand on immigration. How is it, then, that three of the first nine comments in this thread take her to task, one saying she is close to mudslinging, being dirty, and name-calling; another indicating she is throwing dirt; and a third indicating she is tossing insults and criticizing instead of stating her policies and goals.
I think of how it is wrong to be a racist, but it is also wrong to make false charges of racism. This is the same. It is wrong to falsely accuse Jenny of dirty campaigning. She is campaigning on the issues, and should be commended for that.

I want to ask him FLAT OUT will you vote to IMPEACH Donald Trump given his track record to this point or not...YES or NO...Watch him squirm and wriggle.

Mitt is like all the rest of them in DC including our buddy Orin. Drinking the cool aid.

Trump simply is not a decent person and a pathological liar.

Didn't Mitt at one time ask DT to release his tax returns? What happened to that idea Mitt?

    Keep the pressure on Jenny.

"Romney is in hiding because his principles contradict Donald Trump and the Party of Treason..."

Le me tell you what "Treason and Collusion in Action" looks like?

Simply follow the words and activities of the Radical Left who accuse this President of Treason... Who stalk members of his Cabinet to restaurants and yell obscenities at them while they and their families try to order dinner... or march across the country spewing hate words and threatening Law Enforcement Officials who are paid to protect us. Or listen to the hate in the tone and the voices of the leftest media, and special interest groups dedicated to ripping down our Democracy and demanding special classifications for people who choose to rewrite our constitution (i.e. LGBTQ and BLM or selected members of the NFL Players Association, etc.)

These people have leaders like Putin, al-Assad, Rouhani, and Kim Jong-Un clicking their heels and dancing the jig. Meanwhile, they disgrace average everyday Americans.

While I believe that President Trump gets down in the gutter too often with these Leftist-Radicals... I believe he has been amazingly effective in the 18 months he has been our President.

    Same old liberal rhetoric.

Campaign by insulting and criticizing your opponent.

Why not state your policies and goals. What is your philosophy for Utah? How will Utah benefit if you win the election?

  • UtahBruin Eagle Mountain, UT

Treason - The crime of betraying one's country, especially by attempting to kill the sovereign or overthrow the government.

Now I can't figure out if you are Democrat or Republican. Because if you are standing behind your comment. All the doing away with the constitution has come from the left. I am not sure where patriotism falls with that, but it can't be good.

Also, there are plenty of Republicans who are not fully on board with Trump. Despite him being a freak'ing awesome take no guff, get it done, I told you so president. So If Romney were to go against Trump, the seat would still be his. The only thing that prevents Romney from winning this seat is if the world ends. And with an amazing president like Trump, that is just not going to happen. Wilson doesn't stand a chance. I am not even a huge fan of Romney, and would like him firmly planted in that seat before Wilson. We need people with common sense, and that is not anyone who is of the left.

You see, there is a reason the Republicans are known as the "Right", and the Dems are knows as the left, as in out in left field.

    Here is what is funny

Apparently Romney is in hiding because he won't come out and "defend" his position. So Wilson is not getting her way or what she wants to he is hiding.

Romneys position is clearly stated in the article, but he is "hiding" according to Wilson.

In case you missed it, Romney said the legal immigration system should be merit-based, giving applicants credit for English fluency and having a trade or technical skill, personal savings and advanced degrees. So according to Wilson it is a bad thing that Romney wants immigrants to speak some English, have a skill to come work, have some money to come with and maybe have a degree. This is a bad thing because?????

Wilsons position is she wants to create a way for immigrants that are hear illegally mind you. To stay here, well, just because. Who is hiding things maybe?????

This is why I can't stand all politicians. They are not human. The believe the way to win is to just throw dirt and accuse those they are running against. They don't worry about their own campaign.

Wilson, you just lost even more than you would have.

Both candidates are going to do what they think is best for their campaign, but the one thing I seriously have a problem with is mud slinging, dirty, name calling campaigns. While neither os these two candidates have sunk that low, Jenny is getting pretty close. Instead of constantly trying to call Romney out, she should simply focus on why she thinks she is the best candidate. To me, her tactics appear desperate.

She lost the election the second she decided to run as a democrat. Her chances of winning are zero so whatever she has to say is irrelevant. And the last thing America needs is another democrat in the senate.

Romney is in hiding because his principles contradict Donald Trump and the Party of Treason.

By speaking FOR good sense and patriotism, Romney would be speaking AGAINST Donald Trump and the Republican Party, and that would ruin his chances of winning a U.S Senate seat.
