Point being they don't get a trophy for participating and coming in second, and if he wants different rules or payouts he is free to do his own game.

    @ Hoopty6:

"The winning team in this year’s NBA Finals will earn $2,656,422, to be split amongst its players, coaches and staff members. The losing team gets a consolation prize of $1,760,210."

Dude - remember - be nice, and be accurate!!!

Why would/should they pay the second placer? That is not common in ANY sporting event. The Cavs lost to the Warriors in the NBA finals. They got nothing but the satisfaction of being there (and yes it brought in millions for the NBA. If you want things to work like that you should start your own game or show or sport or whatever, and you can pay out whoever and however you like.

He did an amazing job by completing the American Ninja Warrior course. However, he wasn't the only person to complete the course. Geoff Brittan also completed the course that same year and he was less than 2 seconds behind Isaac. Shame on America Ninja Warrior for not paying Mr. Britton the million bucks or something close to it considering the huge tv revenues the show brings in.
