Calm down people! Donovan can still win it in his second year, just like Simmons did.

At least Donovan was chosen as Rookie of the Year by his peers. For me, that says a lot more than being voted by the media.

Silly me. I thought one would have to be a rookie to be Rookie of the Year.

I have absolutely no doubt that Donovan Mitchell’s career and accomplishments will far exceed Ben Simmons when all is said and done.

From what I heard from most of the NBA former players on tv, Donovan Mitchell was the choice for this award over Jayson Tatum of all players who were in college the previous year. Congratulations on being a finalist, Donovan, and good health to you and the Jazz next year.

Both Simmons and Tatum had a more established team to work with that included all sttars, but I will take Mitchell any time.

What a sham. . . Remember, the NBA cares - about making money. Nothing else.

    Keep your head up Donovan.
You are the front runner to win ROY in 2018-2019.

Well if second year players can win Rookie of the Year maybe Donovan can win it next year.
