Kennedy can’t get his own endorsement list correct and apologizes on behalf of all Mormons ( or was it Utahans?) to the preacher Romney called out as being a bigot. After facing a lot of backlash for apologizing on behalf of all Mormons/Utahans, Kennedy then said he’d release the full-length apology phone call, but then only released a snippet where he said something like “most of us don’t feel as Romney does about you.” So he was speaking for “us”.

Kennedy is an absolute amateur who doesn’t seem to stand up for Mormons and can’t get his own endorsement list correct.

Another fringe candidate selected by convention delegates who are supposed to represent my voice at the convention. Time for the caucus system to go. Please Mr. Kennedy drop out now and concede to Governor Romney and avoid a landslide loss. Ignominious Mitt Romney has more Utah ties than Mike Kennedy. Bogus argument.

A Very influential Endorsment for Mike Kennedythat you have failed to include in your article is that of the Honorable Robert C. Oaks, Emeritus General Authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Four Star General, and the Honorary Chair of the Utah Trump Campaign in 2016.

I don't consider Romney a Utahn, don't believe he is a conservative, don't believe he would truly represent Utah and don't trust him. Will not be voting for him.

I will be voting for Mike Kennedy.

I got a kick out of Kennedy's TV ad. He uses the Kennedy name to attract attention. The same Kennedy's as from Massachusetts that were liberals or "progressives." Then he tries to distance himself from Massachusetts and their liberal/conservative background.

Kennedy sounds just like Mitt, a flip-flopper. How can Kennedy try to invoke the Kennedy name and at the same time claim he is a conservative?

There is an old quote that fits Kennedy. "I knew Jack Kennedy, and you're no Jack Kennedy!"

Mitt will give his followers the same flipping promises that he gave while campaigning for the presidency.

Glad to see the Romney supporters running scared. Indeed Mike is a Thorn in Mitt's side.

The endorsement list blunder is just that a blunder by a staffer, nothing more. Let's move on.

God Bless Mike Kennedy will may he win this election!

The only two names on the list I recognize are Stephenson and Noel and I wouldn't accept their recommendation for state dog catcher.

Why go for such small potatoes for fake endorsements?

If you're going for fake endorsements, there are some much bigger names you could use.

When your endorsement list is a lie, then why should we believe you?
Prediction: Romney wins the Primary by a significant margin.

    Two head scratchers.

First, we have the Trump lovers. They just can't get on board because Romney was just too dang mean to that street fighter president. But their man Trump has endorsed Romney in this race, not Kennedy. They love Trump but can't make peace with the man Trump himself has made peace with and now supports?

Then we have those that say Romney doesn't represent Utah values. Except that Romney is more popular than anyone else running by a large margin. When given a choice, a large majority of Utahns think he aligns with what they want better than another other candidate running. But he doesn't represent a majority of what Utahns want? Huh?

I voted for Mitt in 2012 and am proud of that vote. He would have made a great president. I am voting for him for senator without hesitation. I am pleased withTrump’s performance as President.

When even those on your endorsement list don't back you, it's time to throw in the towel.

    Mitt in 2018 and 2020.

Kennedy and his campaign may me a novice to politics. But, it appears he's a fast learner to the Utah way of doing things.

I am not a Kennedy supporter and have problems with Mitt. Mitt burned many bridges when he went on a tirade against the President for no reason other than to be part of the swamp. If he expects Utahans to support him he better understand that dumping on Trump is not a wise thing to do. For one, Trump was complimentary of Mitt and the vitriol that came out of Mitt was so uncalled for. The comments were rude, mean spirited and were an obvious attempt to saddle up to the "powers that be" in Washington and we don't necessarily like that group.

“I strongly support Mike Kennedy,” Noel said in a prepared statement. “Mike is intelligent, thoughtful, sincere, and a true conservative. ”

At the trib someone commented that's reason to NOT support Dr. Kennedy. I replied:

You won't vote for Kennedy for that reason, but clearly you are not a Republican and will not be voting in the GOP primary. If you are a Republican there's reason to vote Kennedy and not Romney. One reason is, yes, he *is* a sincere and a true conservative. Romney's neither of those.

Romney called himself "a severe conservative."

A few years before that Romney called himself "a progressive."

Which is true?? Romney governed like a progressive, and the truth about him is found in his record not his words.

In the debate Romney twisted words to make his gun control and Romneycare insanities look conservative. Ridiculous. Romney's gun control was the same that the left is pushing now but still Romney praises the gun control he signed. Romneycare = Obamacare. But still Romney praises Romneycare! Romney now is an avid pusher of climate change, which is absolutely a leftist position. "Severe conservative" is a lie.
