When Hamilton was in Denver, the locals found it was cheaper to fly to Chicago to see Hamilton. In Salt Lake there are tons of tickets for under $200 on In NYC it's really expensive still.

Once I read that the music is rap and hip-hop, that checked me out of wanting to attend.....

Well, we tried, along with thousands of others, to get our tickets in that mess of a system that Ticketmaster used! Get online at 9am, wait until 10am, then you were supposed to be able to get a shot to purchase tickets. Not! Within 20minutes there were tickets posted on KSL classifieds! Why can't we get a system that makes it easier for actual patrons to get tickets instead of scalpers? It's such a joke!

That said, is it worth the ridiculous price of 4-5x face value that I'm seeing on KSL? I doubt it.

I wished they would go back to the old fashioned stand in line for tickets system. I never paid more than face value for a concert with that system, the only people showing up in line were the ones who really wanted to attend!

The celebs were everywhere! I saw Mitt in the back of the 1st tier and good ole Dave Rose was also in attendance. The security was loosened when the lines got long at the last minute. Not sure if that makes me feel safe but at least we didn't miss the beginning.
