    For many reason we make the gospel of Jesus Christ complicated when it is not. One does not have to look any further than the New Testament.

    RE: patriot (John 3:6 NIV)” Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.” This verse contradicts the concept of a flesh and bone Heavenly mother who gives birth to heavenly spirit it babies.

    Creating” VS, “organizing”. If it had a beginning that means in had to have a “beginner”.(John 1:1). “We know that in the laws of nature (something Evangelicals would say was introduced in the creation) that something cannot come from nothing. So Mormons need to answer “where did the pre-existing natural materials come from that God used to create?” And I would follow that question with “if they were created, why aren’t we worshiping ‘their creator?”

    @ be afraid of the One who can ‘destroy’ both soul and body in (gÉenna)=hell.(Mt 10:28)

    RE: Observatory Jesus' human nature is not omnipresent. But, his divine nature is.
    " Jesus has two natures, divine and human. The hypostatic Union.
    “for in him dwells all the fullness of deity in bodily form." (Col 2:9.)

    “..while we were still sinners, he took our nature to his one person and died for us (Rom 5:8).The hypostatic Union.

    E.g“….I am with you always, to the very end of the age. (Matt 28:20 )

    re:sharrona
    you're confused. God the father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost existed before the world was. All things (the earth) were first created spiritually including ourselves as spirit sons and daughters of a father and mother in heaven. God the Son carried out the actual creation of the world under the direction of His father. Our spirits will never die but will reunite with our perfected physical bodies as did the body of Jesus after his death. This is true religion as taught by the Savior.

    Disagreements about creatio ex nihlio and a pre-mortal existence do not change the fact that LDS believers claim Christ is the Savior of the World and of everyone in it.

    "And moreover, I say unto you, that there shall be no other name given nor any other way nor means whereby salvation can come unto the children of men, only in and through the name of Christ, the Lord Omnipotent." (Mosiah 3:17)

    LDS and Trinitarian Christians have their differences, certainly; but I think they are in agreement on the statement above.

    RE: “Observatory you'll find LDS believe whole-heartedly in this just as much as any other Christian”?

    Christians believe in creation Ex Nihlio .”Through faith we understand that the worlds=(time,G. aion) were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.(Heb 11:3).
    The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual.(1 Cor 15:46)

    Only Jesus pre- existed John 1:1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word (Jesus)was God.

    (Col 1:17-18 NLT)He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together.18 Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body.He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead.

    "Sharrona, you'll find LDS believe whole-heartedly in this just as much as any other Christian..."

    That is certainly an arguable claim...

    "...for God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that through him the world might be saved." (John 3:17) The whole chapter is fundamental to Christian thought, is it not?

    Sharrona, you'll find LDS believe whole-heartedly in this just as much as any other Christian...

    RE: observatory.Jesus.”For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16) is one of the most widely quoted verses from the Bible, and has been called the most famous Bible verse.

    It has also been called the "Gospel in a nutshell ,because it is considered a summary of the central theme of traditional Christianity.

    But,”Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, the wrath of God remains on him." (John 3:36)
    See(Gal 1:8)

    “The gospel of Jesus Christ is found in the New Testament” ..."not a system of doctrines"

    “The fundamental principles of our religion are the testimony of the Apostles and Prophets, concerning Jesus Christ, that He died, was buried, and rose again the third day, and ascended into heaven; and all other things which pertain to our religion are only appendages to it."

    President Nelson is a marvel. Age 93 and he could pass for 73. He skis and his energy level is not that of a 93 year old man. Amazing. President Nelson will continue to push for bigger / better in the Church the same as he did as a world renowned heart surgeon. I see lots of changes still to come so I think we are just getting started. Seeing temples in places like India and Russia shows you the reach of the Church worldwide now. The membership topped 16 million now and it won't take but a few more years to top 20 million. The growth rate is non-linear for certain. The first presidency -- from a pure academic point of view is amazing -- a world renowned heart surgeon, a supreme court justice, a Harvard business grad and businessman. The members of the 12 now are more diverse with that last two new members from Hong Cong and Brazil. That trend will continue as well I predict. With so much hate and anger in the United States media it is refreshing to take part in a world wide conference where just the opposite is felt. People from all over the country and the world came to the conference center and the mood was one of pure joy and unity. Refreshing!

    RE: Flipphone. “The gospel of Jesus Christ is found in the New Testament”
    (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel=(Good message/euangellion) which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
    By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
    For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
    And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.
    Not a systems of doctrines

    President Nelson is, himself, a kind of modern-day miracle. He not only looks surprisingly good for his years, he remains filled with much good will towards others. I wish him every continued success.
