"Federal income tax is unconstitutional, the Federal Reserve Bank is private and owned by private shareholders. People need to wake up and realize this illegal entity needs to be abolished. Money creation by the USA should only be done by the Treasury Department. "

Mmmmmmkayyyy. Well then, uh, yeah, please tell me more......

"Wealthy people in New York, Illinois and California have benefited from tax deductions, while placing more of the tax burden on the rest of us."

Whoa there partner! We live in Utah - a red state, where we pay income tax, property tax, sales tax (including food), additional gasoline taxes, higher taxes on alcohol, and have you seen the cost to register a vehicle?

GOP members in Utah have been raising taxes here not lowering them - at least not for the middle and upper middle class. The taxes here only benefit those that have 10 kids.

To say democrat states are being subsidized without any real fiscal analysis is just political theater by the right.

Why are there so many Karl Marx followers in the world?? Communism leads to loss of free agency, loss of happiness, loss of freedom.

Federal income tax is unconstitutional, the Federal Reserve Bank is private and owned by private shareholders. People need to wake up and realize this illegal entity needs to be abolished. Money creation by the USA should only be done by the Treasury Department.

99% of your federal income tax dollars go to pay the interest on the national debt. The national debt is created 100% from the illegal Federal Reserve Bank issuing money to the Treasury Department and then distributed to its member banks throughout the USA.

If there is no illegal Federal Reserve Bank there is no Federal Income Tax for any American citizen. Consequently we all have more money, less taxes, more freedom, more happiness, more opportunities.

Why do we argue over breadcrumbs and irrelevance? These federal tax laws are always burdensome and pervasive. We need to abolish the illegal and private Federal Reserve Bank, empower and enforce money creation by the Treasury Department of the USA. Its in the Constitution and needs to be enforced.

Yes it's time once again for the liberals to panic and blame President Trump and conservatives for all the problems of this country. Could we just once "accentuate the positive"?

Poor Nancy Pelosi and her "crumbs". Any idea how much she and her family are worth?

    😁

This why most of my neighbors are former Californians: tax flight! And the Demos can't figure out why the combined debt of California’s state and local governments is at least $848 billion and could escalate past $1.1 trillion, according to a new report. At least the dems are predictable, they continue to replace failed social programs with more social programs that they have no hope of ever paying for!

Interesting that the fans of the Hatch/trump tax bill to benefit billionaires have offered such little defense from the trump'ers. Or Hatch ones either.

Maybe, just maybe, the American public sees through this give away to the already wealthy corporations and individuals. And that their $1.50/week extra in the paycheck may not even be that in a couple of years.

Now we learn that the law has some holes in it. Some of which are going to give certain industries and corporations even more tax breaks than previously revealed. Republicans in the Congress are starting to realize that their partisan bill is seriously flawed and that changes must be made to contain the damage.

Who knows what else lurks in this monstrous bill written in pencil in the margins at midnight. Thanks Senator Hatch and presiden trump. You have done us no favors and harmed the country yet again.

    Hey Yuge Opportunity-

Re: "Wealthy people in New York, Illinois and California have benefited from tax deductions, while placing more of the tax burden on the rest of us."

    Think so??

The Blue State PAY much more in Federal taxes per capita then do the Red States. Conversely, the Red states TAKE far more money from the federal government than they pay in taxes. Look it up.

Here are a couple of articles:

"Which States Rely the Most on Federal Aid?" - Tax Foundation

"2017’s Most & Least Federally Dependent States"

Of the 32 states which receive more federal money than they contribute, 27 states (84%) are REPUBLICAN. Of the 18 states which contribute more federal tax dollars than they receive, 14 states (78%) are DEMOCRATIC.

The nation’s poorest counties are in GOP states as well.

“For percentage of residents in poverty, we found that 93 of the 100 poorest counties were in red states . . . For median income, we found that 95 of the 100 poorest counties were located in red states.” – Politifact

Republican-run states have a solid track record of parasitizing our national resources (including our tax dollars) and they STILL can’t lift their citizens out of poverty.

"Wealthy people in New York, Illinois and California have benefited from tax deductions, while placing more of the tax burden on the rest of us."

    Newsflash;
Wealthy people in Utah, Texas, Kansas, Arizona, Georgia, Alabama,Florida, Mississippi, Indiana, Wyoming, Oklahoma, Idaho, etc., have benefited from the tax plan, placing more of the tax burden on the rest of us.

The concept is correct, but the spin is fake news.

Put another way, why should taxpayers in well-managed states subsidize progressive tax plans in other states?

Wealthy people in New York, Illinois and California have benefited from tax deductions, while placing more of the tax burden on the rest of us.

You either believe in big state government and are willing to pay for it, or you don't. Put your own money where your mouth is.

Gee. What a surprise. I'm betting the billionaires and millionaires are liking it though. Paul Ryan said we'd already be flush with extra cash to the tune of $1.50 a week! Now it's going away? Tired of winning-middle class?

The tax law passed by the feds was designed to do precisely what the article says - punish states that have really high taxes and not reward those states with dollars from lower tax states. Good federal tax legislation to reward fiscally prudent states and stop rewarding high tax state with the money from others outside their state.
