So procurador the libs made up Stormy Daniels?
Walking in pairs? Using a buddy system? Given the attraction to power and, by
a few, the desire to place them in a compromising position, these seem like
sensible precautions. It is the same no matter which side of the aisle you are
on.About a year or so ago, VP Pence got into a lot of hot water over
not having female staffers work alone and late with him. At the time, many made
it seem foolish. In the current environment, it looks more and more like pure
genius. No, this is no endorsement of him or his administration. Simply that
taking care of when and where you are alone and being always conscious of your
marriage makes a world of sense - especially in the political realm.
RE: "entrapment, or something else?"...---I'm sure
there's some of both.I'm also sure Democrats and the media
will continue to insist every accusation against an R is legit (with or without
evidence) and the R will claim it didn't happen. And R's
will do the same to D's. For sure.I just wish people would
report this behavior the instant it happens.... that would help their case SO
Much. There are people around no matter where you go. If somebody
does something... don't wait till you get home. Don't wait a week.
Don't wait a month. Don't wait 40 years... Report it that very
instant, to anybody, the nearest person. A friend. Even a stranger. The
police. Why not?Tell somebody what happened right when it happens.
Then they can't deny they were with you, because it was 5 minutes ago. If you wait years it's easy to claim it didn't happen. If you
report it that instant, it's pretty hard to deny, and the people you report
it too can confirm your story.I think the most important lesson to
learn is to report it when it happens, not later. It's harder to
punish perpetrators when you report it years later. And if you report it now...
you may prevent many assaults.
I was close to the late Utah Congressman Gunn McKay (D). I heard him recount on
more than one occasion how Republican operatives tried to set him up in order to
embarrass him. He was a man of strong principle and never yielded, and he was
never compromised. Having strong character and a true commitment to serving the
people is the surest way to stay out of trouble, even if faced with efforts to
entrap or tempt a leader. Gunn was very special, truly one of the greatest,
most principled men I have ever known. His example is one that our current
slate of leaders should follow.

Limbaugh/Hannity/Breitbart blathersphere to say George Soros is paying
prostitutes to visit Republican legislator hotel rooms. I'm
sure you'll say George Soros is paying me handsomely to write this because
I'm one of those dreaded "liberals" who will go to any extreme to
undermine your beautiful GOP world. But the Vickers story has a bad
smell behind it.
Walking in pairs says a lot about avoiding his word against hers and hidden
cameras viz. cell phone cameras to make the best of a set-up. Lawmakers are a
prize target for blackmail. 'Nuf said.
Re: ". . . if they have to be advised to walk in pairs and never be alone,
it doesn't say much for personal responsibility."Walking in
pairs and not being alone is part of personal responsibility -- particularly at
a time when unprincipled liberals have been shown to be willing to collude with
foreign enemies to make up stories out of whole cloth, troll for paid
"witnesses" to those stories, and falsely attribute to innocent, decent
folks the misconduct they're so famous for.The easy ethics and
virtue of liberal politicians have made these dangerous times to oppose them.
We know Stanard wasn't entrapped. He got caught -two times (no count on
others not reported). Vickers story hasn't been proven. You know if they
police found security footage backing his story, Vickers would be holding
another press conference. And, if they have to be advised to walk in pairs
and never be alone, it doesn't say much for personal responsibility.
