How does someone who claims to be Christian use this President as an example of any type of moral values?

Yes Deseret News, that is a reality!

    Ten Commandments or ten suggestions?

"Economy A : revive a dead Obama economy in just one year mainly by reversing all Obama policies and then passing historic tax cuts. Our GDP is now above 3% and headed for 4%. The Stock market keeps breaking records. Obama never got a GDP above 1%."

Thanks Obama for leaving Trump a decent economy to work with. Our economy grew at 2.3% in 2017. The Obama post-recession average growth rate was 2.2%.

You want to argue that 0.1% makes all the difference?

@ Impartial. Report Card. Adultery-check. Coveting another man's wife-check . And a myriad of racist, sexist and hateful speech. check:

(D&C 132:37) Abraham received concubines, and they bore him children; and it was accounted unto him for righteousness?
VS Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.(Gal 3:6)

.(JoD V. 2 p. 142)”Can you make a Christian of a Jew? I tell you Nay, If a Jew comes into this church ,and the blood honestly professes to be a Saint, a follower of Christ, and if the blood of Judah is in his veins, he will apostatize

    "Trumps First Year Report Card."

Aside from issuing multiple executive orders which any president coming later can overturn, Trump's accomplishments are . . . two.

Sure he got his conservative Supreme Court justice, but at the cost of evangelicals selling their souls. Claims of maintaining moral superiority went out the door on the arm of Stormy Daniels and Trump's adultery. Who can listen to a evangelical preacher talk about "family values" and "the sanctity of marriage" when we have their own hypocrisy glaring in the headlights? All for a conservative justice? What else would they sell their souls for? Maybe a few rubles?

The other Trump attainment is a tax bill that favors the rich and powerful (in addition to lining the pockets of the president with gelt) to the detriment of the middle class worker. When corporate CEOs told the Trump administration that they were not planning to reinvest and hire more workers, it became very clear where these tax savings were going.

The economy only continued the growth that it enjoyed under Obama. Unemployment continued its decline in the same manner. Trump just tweets and scowls.

    Trumps First Year Report Card

Economy A : revive a dead Obama economy in just one year mainly by reversing all Obama policies and then passing historic tax cuts. Our GDP is now above 3% and headed for 4%. The Stock market keeps breaking records. Obama never got a GDP above 1%.
Foreign A - : ISIS is all but dead. The US is no longer a puppet on a string for the UN to pull for more money. People found out that when this president draws a red line he means it.
Domestic B+ : Obamacare repeal vote failed. Trump will do better the next time to repeal this ugly thing.
Bill Of Rights A : new US supreme court justice is a conservative and Trump has stood firm with Christians.
Standing for the right and not bending A : With the liberal media and the democrats and corrupt FBI all conspiring to bring him down he beat them all.
Communicating: B: He started rough but has learned and gotten much better. I listened to to a speech overseas recently and he was awesome!

Overall I give Trump an A- after one year. He has exceeded my expectations.

**after 1 year I gave Obama an F. It never got better.

It is an interesting article and take on Trump's first year. When are we going to start talking about how he is doing for America, instead of this group or that? And the comment under Refugees and Immigration that these organizations are conservative Christian organizations is totally untrue. Just a little research beyond their names would reveal these are big businesses, most highly funded by our own federal government and nothing like their origins or their nice sounding names. They are paid to bring refugees into this country, per head, paid to set them up in our cities for four months, then they go on your State's welfare roles. These are well-researched facts, easy to confirm.

Evangelical Christians are more extreme right. Are we that concerned about what they think any more than we are that concerned about what the extreme left thinks?

Trump’s first-year report card: How’d he do on issues important to evangelicals?
It's not, or at least it should not, be that important. They're not that big a group, and are given way more importance than they deserve.
