Run by Democrats! Why not stay true to form and have the government give everyone a free house? You can call it the "affordable house act"! Never mind that California has nearly $400 billion in unfunded liabilities and debt from public pensions, retiree health care and bonds, financial analysts say. The problem with socialism is that sooner or later they always run out of other people's money! Now that they have fouled their nests, they want to do the same to the rest of America?

It is inexcusable that housing in that area is so unaffordable. It is so expensive they can't even hire enough teachers for their children because they can't afford to live there. There is not enough supply and too much demand which is part of the problem which drives up costs. Another thing that drives housing up so high is the tech giants in Silicon Valley. If people were willing to work for less money and the tech giants contributed to helping create affordable housing it would be a different situation.
