Let me play conservative for a minute:"Lock him up, lock him
@ Utahbluedevil: NY Times Oct 16, 2016: "The presidential campaign was
rocked on Friday after federal law enforcement officials said that emails
pertinent to the closed investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email
server were discovered on a computer belonging to Anthony D. Weiner, the
estranged husband of a top Clinton aide."Untrue is it?
"Then some of her classified emails actually ended up on Anthony
Weiner's personal computer! And all the time Hillary denied it all!"Again Thid..... not true. Those emails ended up not on Anthony
Weiner's computer, but his wife's who worked for Hillary. And no,
Hillary didn't deny it all.... there were lengthy congressional hearings
where she discussed it. Do I like Hillary. No. Am I glad she is
not President. Yes ( I don't like the current White House occupant either
). But this claim she did something criminal versus just plain stupid is not
supported by anything more than opinions of those who have a political bias. I
wish she would just go away and enjoy being a grandma or work in the private
sector. But let's not replace the legal system with opinions.
Kushner's lock up will probably be concurrent to time for Indictment on
Thid: The Bush Administration deleted over 2 million emails. Maybe
we need to lock all them up as well.
If it can be shown that Kushner really did send classified information on his
personal computer, he should be locked up! But Hillary deleted 30K emails and
said they were all about grand mothering and yoga. Then some of her classified
emails actually ended up on Anthony Weiner's personal computer! And all the
time Hillary denied it all!
@ Thid"Big difference is he was NEVER the Secretary of State!
Just a simple advisor to the President with NO classified information, unlike
Hillary."This is fundamentally incorrect. Kushner is on the
National Security Council and has national security clearance. Unlike Hillary,
Kushner is a failed businessman who is desperately seeking funding to keep his
skyscraper at 666 N. Fifth Avenue from defaulting.
Thid.... here is the problem. Kushner does have security clearance . It was
on his security clearance papers that he forgot to detail his meetings with the
Russian lawyer..... remember that. So the basis for you comments is completely
false. And yes, Kushner has exactly or more access to the President
than did Hillary to Obama. If you can't see that, we are all at a
loss.Do I think either if worth being locked up. Nope. But it is
fun to see some do the "but its different this time" dance. If
conservatives (and progressives) expect to have any credibility, then they need
to be just a smidge more consistent.
Big difference is he was NEVER the Secretary of State! Just a simple advisor to
the President with NO classified information, unlike Hillary. If the left can
not see the difference, there is no hope for you! Heck, even I used my personal
computer to send and receive information about the WH, same as Kushner. Dang, I
might be getting a call from Mueller!
For the Trumps Whitehouse business and personal business is one and the same.
Easier to make back channel deals for the family. Lock him up.
Wow, so it's the pot calling the kettle black. I'm sure Hilary Clinton
is smiling somewhere today. This White House has been a disaster from
beginning to end. Instead of coming off as the street smart business team that
would come to bust up corruption, the expose themselves as the fumbling wealthy
elite - used to doing anything they like with impunity and having no connection
to the common people.
Do we need to change the chant from 'Lock her up' to 'Lock them
up'?Surely if it is jail worthy for one, it should be jail
worthy for the other. At least we should start a series of congressional
inquiries.... right? I truly suspect this is just a case of
carelessness.... not criminal intent. But hey.... I would also hate for there
to be a double standard.
