I guess this was to be expected from Lt. Gov Dan Patrick. He started out as a reasonable sounding talk show host that was to the right. He espoused good Christian moral values, love etc... for so many years.

Not sure what exactly happened to him, somehow down the line he has gone to the far right. I don't suspect we will see him condemn Trump's flip flopping on blaming both sides for what happened in N.C. either.

Hopefully, we can end all the gerrymandering that has taken place in Texas, Utah and other states. It is time to give a voice in government to those of us out here being locked out of the discussion. The current system only contributes to the divisiveness. Allowing more voices to be heard and negotiated with in the House and Senate will mean better, more common sense approaches to solving the problems we face as a nation and a state today.

Transgender individuals need more protection and not less.

There are so many issues we should be focusing on, like the Neo Nazis, poverty in the cities and rural poverty, homelessness, access to mental health services, more funding for local schools, and the list goes on, instead of waging a war against the transgender. They have not commited crimes, they too have the right to live.
