I experienced a heart attack in my early fifties, about fifteen years ago. The symtoms were, feeling clammy, nausea and what I thought was heart burn with the strangest feeling in my neck and jaw. The ER (in Utah) attributed it to stress and prescribed xanex. My GP thought everything looked and sounded ok. but referred me to a cardiologist and the minute I jumped on the treadmill with the dye in me the doctor said stop ! You've had a heart attack. I went in the next morning for an angiogram and sure enough I had experienced a heart attack. I hope procedures and protocols have changed.
