    How did she do it?

She ran faster than all but one person, that's how.

I'm late to the party cheering on my fellow Wildcat here, but, Way to go, Ms. Sellers!

    Way to represent!

    And, Go, Wildcats!

May this be simply the start of many great things to come (although whatever else does or doesn't happen, you ran BOSTON, and finished SECOND!!!)

Wow! Typically, a 2:44:xx is a pedestrian time for an elite, but not in those conditions, and amazing that Desi won the race in 2:40:xx. As a multiple (but slow) marathoner myself, I know something of the dedication it takes to train and train and train, but I have no idea of what it takes to train as an elite. I wish her all the best, and if her 2:44 in horrible conditions is any indication, she has many great days ahead of her as a world-class distance runner. Very exciting!

So proud of her! A great reminder of how no one knows what they're capable of until they try.

If the 2:30 was realistic under different circumstances, she could be around for awhile.
