water rocket:I'm sure it was unintentional, but to refer to
Dante as "Exume" was almost on the money. He's been gone so long
the Jazz must exhume Exum's game.
@water rocketYes, three-way record tie of 37-30, but the Jazz own
the tie breaker over the Nuggets and Spurs so the Jazz are currently the 8th
seed. If playoffs began today it would be Jazz-Rockets. With the
way the Jazz are playing, and looking at the remaining schedules for the top of
the West, my prediction is the Jazz move up past the Clippers, Timberwolves, and
maybe Thunder and finish either as either the 6 of 5 seed.
Looking at everyone’s schedule I think the Jazz end up 4th. But they would
need to win 48 games.
They are tied with two other teams for 8th place, but that will change real
soon, when the Clippers loose to Houston. The Clippers are in 7th place by .02%
points, because they have played two fewer games. The Jazz are actually only
two games back of the 4th place team. If they keep winning like they are right
now, they will easily make the playoffs. Right now, the only question is what
place. As for Exume returning to the lineup, having not played with
this team for pretty much two years, I highly doubt the chemistry would be there
for him to make much of a positive impact. In fact, I think he would
potentially have a bad impact.A few things that have made this year
what it is as I see it are: 1) The rapid development of Mitchel. 2) Rubio, who
started out as a bust, and is now playing the best ball of his career. 3)
Gobert, while it is no surprise that his defense is all star caliber, his
offense has matured. 4) Favors, who is finally healthy, and is playing well
along side Gobert. 5) The development of other players to the point that any
one can lead the team on any given night, depending on what is needed. 6) Last
of all, the coaching, who get the best from everyone
They are currently sitting in the 8th spot according to nba.com. I think
it's a lock, the real question is which spot they will end up occupying, my
bet is 6th.
