He's an amazing football player! Funny how he said he played at
"Brigham" (which I've never heard of).
to big 12 call yet? Hope that you have a happier life. Why be negative?
@Big 12Just wanted to say, as a BYU fan, I am TOTALLY impressed with
your pertinent post. Thanks for staying close to the subject of the
KVN is a class act. I once watched as he spent 30+ minutes talking with 5
youth, answering questions, signing hats/footballs, etc. He is articulate and
smart, and has fantastic people skills. He is also a very good football player
and has had an impact for the Pats, including in post-season play. I wish Kyle
the best today.
Nice human interest type story. I hope folks can leave it at that.
Van noy must love playing with teammates who are good enough to beat their
rivals and win the big game - something he never experienced a single time at
byu. After going 0-4 in his "Super Bowls(his words)" during
college, he now has a 1-4 record in super bowl games.
I think this is one of the real perks to attending BYU. A significant number of
Football players meet their wives, who share their same values, during their BYU
days. What a blessing that can be for the Kyle's of the world who have the
athleticism and skill to make it to the NFL.So many other high
profile football schools simply cannot compete with BYU when it comes to dating
girls who share your same values. We now simply need to get back to
the glory days so we can attract more and more Van Noy type players.
We love all that Kyle Van Noy did at BYU. He was really special. However, we all knew there was a bit of a maverick in him also. And, it's
still there!Nice article regarding his parents and his story.
