AzUte1,Losing by 12 to such an inferior team as BYU obviously stings!
Interesting news that Utah will be giving away tickets to the home game against
Stanford on the night to honor the name sake on the building! That says a lot
about this year's team and chance to go dancing in March!!!!!!!! Utah must
win out to reach 20 wins and BYU only needs to win 2 of it's remaining
games! So enjoy your RPI trophy sitting next to your many SOS trophies! Go Blue!
Go Cougs!!!!!! Go WCC!!!!!!!!
@Marked it Down: "The truth is, very few, if any, of Utah's men's
basketball team knew Jon Huntsman well enough to be emotionally affected by his
passing"@JohnInSLC: "And, with your blue goggles, you know
that how?"Common sense. Jon Huntsman had far more
important things to do than to hang out with Utah basketball players. It's interesting how the Red Rocks (suffering from the same
"emotional trauma"), managed to post their highest score of the season
only a day later.Quite obviously, the rundown Utes simply laid an
egg in Boulder. It had nothing to do with the passing of Jon Huntsman.

Ouch - this is LMU bad.
johninslc"Meh. I'll give 'em that one. I wasn't
much good for anything on the days I have lost people dear to me."The Red Rocks (highest score of the season) are obviously a lot tougher,
mentally, than the rundown Utes. The truth is, very few, if any, of
Utah's men's basketball team knew Jon Huntsman well enough to be
emotionally affected by his passing in the slightest.
AZUTE1 "Updated Sos/Rpi rankings..."LOL at your
delusional RPI spin.Latest ESPN Bracketology has the WCC getting
just as many bids to the NCAA tournament as the might "conference of
champions" - two bids each.A team that is tied for 7th in a
2-bid conference has absolutely ZERO chance of getting an at large bid
"Seriously, most Utah players barely knew Jon Huntsman"NoFan:Yeah, he only had courtside seats for every game in the
building that bears his name, and the practice facility bears his name. How on
earth could the players get to know him?The view of Utah athletics
must be much better from Provo.

Seriously, most Utah players barely knew Jon Huntsman; they certainly
didn’t know him well enough to be “distraught “ at his
It’s interesting all of the BYU fans piling on after each Utah game. It
would appear that Utah’s wins and losses are more important to them than
their own team is. Judging from the results of BYU’s last several games
as well as their conference season in general, it is obvious that they should
spend more time and effort cheering their on team on and worry less about the
80k is using Huntsman's passing as the excuse for this lost? What ever
happened to "let's win this game to honor his memory, honor his family,
and honor the name on our arena"??So now utha has lost this
season to both of its rivals: BYU and its manufactured rival Colorado. Great day
to be a BYU fan! Go Cougars!!!!
Meh. I'll give 'em that one. I wasn't much good for anything on
the days I have lost people dear to me. I'm guessing they'll play
with a bit more fire from here on out. Lovin' the coog fans
here trying to feel better about their team.
In a word, disappointing. You’re just not going to win many games when you
shoot 35% from the field.
@Down under"Lovin their PAC membership"Sigh...you're right...I really really wish we were in the WCC, but they
won't have us.
Hey fellas. It's just a game.Enjoy it for what it is.Worfs law of sports:"For every winning team. There's an
equal and opposite result."
80k just doesn't recruit enough talent. They are over matched in every game
and the games they win are because the other teams does not take them serious
This team is just not very good ....
That’s a hard one to figure out. They beat ASU, lose a close one to UA and
then get whooped by Colorado. Inconsistent indeed. Oh, PS Chris B - they lost
the rivalry game to BYU earlier in the year. You can’t manufacture
rivalries just because you post it here.
The worst basketball game for Utah since Jack Gardner coached us.It
must have been Larry’s special appreciation for Ground Hog Day...we did
the same thing for 40 minutes. It didn’t work for any of the 40
minutes...Babe... I got you babe..
Below .500 in a watered down conference. Lovin their PAC membership. Maybe
another bumper sticker will help.
Tough rivalry loss. This team has been so inconsistent. Time to
start developing younger players for next year. Go utes go Pac12
and go p5 conferences
