After years of excellence, this looks like a learning experience for the Cougs. USCB looked really good, though. Didn't they just get a new coach?

I’ve been watching Men’s BYU Volleyball for a long time and I think that was one of the worst performances I’ve seen. Coach O is right. It looks much like the UCI match. The error-ridden match was highlighted by very poor passing and poor defense, especially at the Libero position (why Sykes was inexplicably benched is a head scratcher). Errors from the service line was high. I can understand having a few service errors from the guys who do a hard jump serve, but from the guys who do a marshmallow float serve, it’s inexcusable!
Storm Fa’agata can make the kills on a perfect set, but anything short of that, because of his short stature, he’s unable to adjust or improvise. And his passing and defense is sub-par. I believe Coach needs to make an adjustment at that position.
