Spokane,Nah, I'm still here. Just have better things to do with my
time in like some obsessed ute fans that troll BYU articles. The utes won
because the sun devils are terrible now days.
No way asu should be ranked in any pole. They may been lucky early in the
season but they are terrible now.
I don't know about that asbI don't do it but I can imagine it goes
both ways. I was just surprised it was all positive. Does not happen much.
At BrownDerbyNo doubt it trolls both ways
RE soulkracker - Kansas City, MOYour comments about BYU trolls seems to be
in direct contrast to the number of U trolls making their usual uninformed
comments about the BYU/StMary's game
What a great win! Also, it is so nice and refreshing to see all the positive
comments and not one BYU troll trying to find a way to be bitter or take away
from this hard fought win. Thank you!
Great win for the Utes on the road against a ranked team. I've said it
before in previous comments, Sedrick Barefield can play! Congrats on a big win
from this Cougar fan. Wildcats up next. I'll be cheering for you Ute
xert, I gotta disagree with your player assessment. Rawson has been fantastic
this season, 2nd best player on the team behind Bibbins. He has good weakside
help defense, his shot has improved, and he's probably the best passer on
the team. Collette's problems this year aren't for lack of effort,
they're from trying to do too much. Constantly trying to break double teams
for the score, getting handsy on defense, jumping wildly for rebounds. Until he
settles down a little, I'm all for Johnson taking as many of his minutes as
he can handle.Lots of growth on this team. Can't wait to add
Doutrive, Battin, Allen, and the others next year.
Not surprised at this win. Utah should have beat them in SL. Johnson had a great
game. Still needs to add some strength, but he will be huge in the next couple
years. Barefield, Tillman and Seeley will be the stars next year. Great win for
the Utes. Tough on tomorrow. There is no one in the country the can handle
Arizona's Ayton. Will be the number one draft pick in June.
Spokane Ute - Spokane, WAJan. 26, 2018 8:58 a.m.It
must’ve snowed in Arizona, according to, but seriously folks, we
didn’t have a snowballs chance in. I noticed that guy is nowhere to be
found today------------That's what happens when you
let anger and bitterness get the better of your composure. You make ridiculous
claims and can't show your face once they have been debunked.Guessing last night wasnt too pleasant for BSF.LULZ
xert - Santa Monica, CAJan. 26, 2018 7:54 a.m.These two nearly
cost the Utes last night with turnovers and missing free throws, but Sedrick
Barefield saved their skins. -----------Uh no.Rawson was a major factor why Utah won the game. He has been one of the most
consistent contributors this year.
Congrats Utes! Best team effort that I've seen from Utah this year.
What a great win. Arizona st messed up by not fouling at the end of regulation.
What a clutch shot by Barfield. It must’ve snowed in Arizona, according
to, but seriously folks, we didn’t have a snowballs chance in. I noticed
that guy is nowhere to be found today, now that’s curious? I guess you
just can’t take some people seriously Go Utes
Coming off this win, tomorrow afternoon's game on FOX will be a good
opportunity to draw some attention and exposure for the program. Here's to
a good showing. Go Utes!
The Utes have gotten tougher as they have come to realize that their Sr.'s
are simply not their go to guys with the exception of Justin Bibbin's.
Rawson, Bealer and Collette are not having the kinds of years that you would
expect out of Sr.'s in this program and are simply players who
"might" give you a good effort (Rawson more often than Collette) or
might simply disappear. These two nearly cost the Utes last night with turnovers
and missing free throws, but Sedrick Barefield saved their skins. But this is
not an awful thing because it has forced the Ute youngsters to grow up quickly
and that bodes well for the future. In the end, one of these three might reveal
himself to be a force to be reckoned with down the stretch, but in the
meantime--I'm enjoying watching Jayce Johnson and Donnie Tillman and
thinking about what the next couple of years might look like.
The Utes proved me wrong last night. I'm impressed. A nice win.
Observations: 1) Jayce Johnson had his best game - by far - and if he continues
with the fire and determination shown, he can be a really good PAC-12 center;
2)David Collette seems to not handle pressure well in some games - this one is
an example; 3) If Dr. Hill was upset with the reffing in the game in SLC, he
should be outraged by the reffing in this game. A good win on the
road against a ranked team! Go Utes!
