That first half wasn't a "complete" performance, it was a clinic! That first half was sheer domination. The second half featured a lot of reserves, and they played well, too.

Rather than thinking that every opponent is a push over, as the Utes seem to be doing,

I hope that the Cougars have a little angst for every opponent that they play the rest of the season.

BYU does much better when they play with intensity and a little bit of a chip on their shoulder.

Time to start sweating your 5th straight loss...

    luckily,

U have an even weaker team than U,

    WSU,

on deck, to help U end your 0 for 2018.

"There was a lot of angst leading up to the game."

Maybe if there was a little more angst on the hill,

    U wouldn't be 0 for 2018.

I'll take a little angst and a 34-point blowout win, over a 17-point blowout loss anyday.

At least BYU is throttling their opponent, unlike a certain team which, apparently, prefers to be the one being throttled.

    mightymite -

I'm guessing that Utah losing as many games in the last two weeks as BYU has lost in the entire season does not bode well for Utah's NIT chances.

With Santa Clara being way down at #291 on KenPom, it is difficult to know if this "complete game performance" is due to BYU's improvements or because of Santa Clara's weakness. Time will tell, hoping to see more improvement for BYU, and I am loving the increased emphasis on defense this year, go Cougars!

I am guessing a victory over powerhouse Utah will open up the big 12 talks again. Between the gridiron and hardwood who can argue on inclusion. Silly big 12.......

I’m guessing that losing 4 in a row and dropping to the bottom of the PAC 12 means Utah’s season is over.

btw, remind us the last time Utah beat a WCC team in a post season tournament.
