    Looking forward to the volleyball season. Love watching those guys play.
    Loss of Langlois and Patch is HUGE. I hope Olmstead is realistic about the potential of some of the new guys. Defense is obviously really important, but tall, powerful pin hitters are equally important. Sander can't do it all.
    Fa'agata is a pretty good server and hitter, and can jump like a gazelle. But he is NOT 6'3". I doubt he is 6'0". And that makes a huge difference when blocking at the net.

    Good insight about the difference between BYU and OSU; it was definitely their serve and receive. BYU volleyball is great because even in their down years they still compete among the very best in the nation.

    I think you got your facts backwards. BYU is not leaving the MPSF, and moving to the Big West. they are in fact picked to win the MPSF this year.

    The Big West is now sponsoring mens volleyball, so the Big West teams that were previously in the MPSF are leaving. Thanks for the otherwise good article.
