Utahans look to have one more chance to follow the Senators own recommendations for somebody who has been in Washington to long. Bring him home.

Senator Hatch *will* say anything with a straight face; he's a politician after all.

This is a man that viciously attacked a sexual harassment victim during the confirmation hearings for Clarence Thomas and has on more than once implied that Americans don’t earn their kibble. He is quite content to see his only real accomplishment in 36 years defunded so he can have a seat next to a man he is worshipping more and more. I see him as the Senate version of Sally Field upon receiving her Oscar stating her amazement that the powers “like me”.

And yet if he runs again Utahns will elect him overwhelmingly. Says a lot more about us than about anything else.

Gotta do something other than vote against your own interests just because someone has a RM by their name.

Would he have demanded that Roy Moore not be seated, even if he were 'approved' by a majority of voters? Methinks he would have.
The 'highest ethical standards' concept is very fluid these days. There are many in office yet who, in my opinion, fail.
