    @markymark what's the point of your comment? I've seen you in several stories already purposely trying to discredit these East boys. Obviously you have some kind of personal issue with East High Football. Sam Taimani never played on the D-Line as stated he is an Offensive Guard. Stop with the negativity already. As an East fan, i'm just glad that these Utah athletes are proving that Utah high school ball can compete with the best. Best of wishes to all who have an opportunity to play at the next level.

    @MountainMan38

    If Utah were beating teams like Washington with those recruits from Cali/Florida/Texas it maybe a win for Utah, but theyre losing with those out of state recruits that you speak of. So, I guess its a LOSS for Utah when these top in-state kids leave and WIN at other programs.

    Was he part of that big east Dline that was giving up 5 yards a pop on qb sneak? One was a 7 yard TD. Bingham oline was half there size.

    Utah has 31 players from California on their roster plus seven from Florida. So it looks like a two-way street, and Utah gets the better of the deal.

    Something people need to remember is that some kids just want to go out of state for school. You realize that not every 5-star kid in LA recruited by USC ends up going there, right?

    The only way for all Utah schools, ESPECIALLY Utah, to stop top in-state kids from going out of state is to win and win convincingly.

    Until they do that, they are going to lose in-state kids.

    If the Utes want to keep these kids, Whittingham knows what he needs to do? Quit messing around and win some division and conference titles.

    The Utah schools are never going to be able to recruit with the big dogs.
