Boy, you have that location down pat. But when you guys have played in that room so many times over the years, I guess it's location engraved in your memory!

If one is unaware of the bowl his favorite team is playing in, he should, indeed, post his request for more data on this thread. Sorry to say, Tomahawk Red, the Y is not in a bowl this year. Hang in there, though, they should get back into bowl business next year. Stay turned and you are bound to be grateful that the best program in the state of Utah will again go bowling.

"You forgot to mention which bowl BYU is in."

Same bowl utah-slc played in in 2012 and 2013.

Thanks for your continued obsession with all things BYU.

    Tomahawk Red:

Right now, it still appears to be down the hall, first door on the right.

The only games that will attract anything more than casual attention are the Tier 1s. And among the Tier 1s, I will only watch Miami-Wisconsin, Washington-Penn State, and UCF-Auburn if I am bored and have nothing better to do.

The only real must see games (unless its your alma mater) are USC-Ohio State and the playoff games. (There were really 6 teams deserving of the playoff this year--the 4 that are in, and USC and Ohio State.)

Everything except the playoff are really just "consolation" games, and glorified vacations for the players and coaches. In 10 years, I really hope non-playoff bowl games are pretty much extinct. They are simply a waste of money for the universities involved.

How is the Belk Bowl a "Tier 4" game, but the Pinstripe Bowl is "Tier 3"? The Belk matches off a pair of 7-5 teams from the ACC and the SEC, whereas the Pinstripe matches off a pair of 7-5 teams from the ACC and the BigTen. Both seem pretty much on the same tier to me, and should be placed WELL ahead of the Celebration Bowl that pairs of a couple of FCS teams.

    And if Tex-Mizz and Tx Tech-USF = "Tier 2", then so too should UKy-N'western, WF-Tx A&M, WVa-Utah, Iowa-BC, Ariz-Pur, & Kan St-UCLA!

Troy-N Tex and Tol-Appy St should be somewhere down there in the Tier 3-4 range.

Looking forward to it; I love the bowl games. Although there are some duds; there are a lot of great matchups. Looking forward to Utah vs WVU. Two equally matched teams who otherwise would never get to play each other. Crazy, but I see it as a better matchup then Indiana last year. Funny how things work out.
