Chris B: last time I checked USU is located in my hometown of Logan. As far as standards in Ogden I would say they are pretty high. Weber State will be playing the number one FCS team in the nation in the quarter finals of the playoffs. Go Aggies, go Cats.

    usu accepted this invite?

I can guarantee you if Utah was ever given the pick between this bowl or stay home, we'd vote stay home.

I guess the standards are a little lower in Ogden

What bowl is BYU going to?

I congratulate USU on their bowl invitation. Any bowl is better than no bowl which is what we have this year.

However, I think that this will be one of the least exciting bowl games this year.

Beating byu didn't hurt the Aggie's bowl chances, scheduling them in the first place is what hurts a team's SOS.

BYU fans are taking to twitter and elsewhere to make fun of our bowl. Truth is beating BYU hurt the Aggies bowl opportunities because beating the lowly Cougars hurt our SOS so badly.

Welcome to Tucson to both squads of Aggies. Our Tucson sports columnist, who is a self proclaimed Utah State Aggie alum, was calling for this matchup last week. Looks like his prediction came true.

And special kudos to the NM State Aggies for finally ending their bowl drought. Hopefully some of their fans will hop on I-10 and make the 5 hour drive to Tucson for this game. Again, welcome to all.

NMSU breaks a 57 year bowl drought. Good for them!
Aggies vs Aggies. Go have some fun!
