    Stefan Cantwell also played at Dixie State in the GNAC in NCAA Division II his freshman year in 2011. That is where I first remember paying attention to him before his mission in Washington.

    This year is the fourth year Cantwell has played. For those hoping he has one more year, they need to look elsewhere.

    Stefan affects his teams success as much any athlete in the country. He just makes big time plays and frustrates opponents. With Cantwell, Weber can play with any team in all FCS... Soooooo glad he is a Wildcat!!!

    Stefan has put together #TheWinningSeason with #WeAreWeber and some great teammates. He will go down and avenge that loss to the team down South and then move on to play on Jan. 6th in Frisco, TX

    @Musketman

    And maybe your next offensive coordinator... We're hoping that's not the case but with it being Sitake's cousin it's a definite possibility.

    Seems to me that BYU needs to look no further, then 80 miles north. To find next years starting QB. As a Graduate transfer, Cantwell could and would start immediately. With no required sit out!

    Go T-Birds.

    C'mon Dnews, show a little kindness to SUU as well. They weren't even supposed to compete this year, but now they are in the playoffs and hosting WSU instead of the other way around.

    I had the pleasure of meeting Stephan a couple of times. He is a humble, gifted young man. I wish him all the best on Saturday. @truthwillprevail - congrats to the TBirds. I hope the team that wins on Saturday goes a long, long way in the FCS playoffs. Ogden is buzzing too. Wish the game was here.

    How about a little credit/coverage for the TBirds? They beat Weber State and are 9-2, with one of those losses to the Oregon Ducks. While I applaud WSU's season and are a very worthy opponent, SUU seems to get very little credit and coverage along the Wasatch Front. This will be a great game. All of Southern Utah (including Dixie) is buzzing with excitement. Go TBirds!!

    It’s a shame that Stephan isn’t a household name in regards to Utah college football. When Stephan was leading Bingham to back to back state titles Bingham’s game plan was to hand the ball to Harvey Langi 80 percent of the time which didn’t let Cantwell display his skills for college coaches to see. He could have been a 3 year starter for the Ute or the Cougars. He could have also played Division 1 baseball. He’s a great young man and I hope Weber beats Southern Utah this week.
