    It seemed to me that the Utes did great in the first half and then went into the locker room where the coaches said 'That really worked so lets do the opposite in the second half'.

    Seriously when are they going to figure out that when you run a zone defense you need to cover the people in your zone, not just stand in the middle of the zone and wait for a completion before you react?

    Naval Vet,

    We got outscored 13-6 in the 2nd half. No matter how you spin it, Utah got outscored in the 2nd half.

    Sure, we gave up 13-pts, but to say that we'd been "outscored"....that just doesn't tell the whole story. For example, Utah had the ball, 1st-&-Goal from the 3-yd line with over a minute to play. If we wanted to run up the score, and punch it in for a TD, the box scores could have read 13-13 for the 2nd-Half. But instead of tacking on "style points", we just took a knee. After all, what would be the point of scoring another TD? We ALREADY had a 21-pt lead! The "W" was imminent!

    @atlonlast;
    "Accurate grading if you only consider the first half of the game. Considering both halves, I would say a B or maybe a B+."

    I'd agree. Utes got outscored 13-6 in the 2nd half.
