OK, I know I haven’t been charitable towards Joey Babalou, not seeing a place for the guy from the day he was drafted onto his release. However, it wasn’t anything personal, my problem is with the insane draft picks, the Jazz are known for. For example If the Jazz have 5 small forwards and no power forwards, the Jazz draft another small forward. To make it worse the Braintrust will draft a small forward, NObody has on their radar.
You have to give Jazz fans credit for loyalty, they cheered when Kantor was picked and likewise they cheered and patted the Brass on the back for the genius move to get rid of Kantor to Oklahoma City. What am I missing here? Either they make a horrible move by drafting the guy (top 5 pick folks), or they blundered by dumping such a fine prospect, it can’t be both. Think about the draft history and try to tell yourself that these people can’t be replaced by a dartboard. It’s been a very long time since the Mailman or the Pale Assassin were drafted.

Bonehead move on the JAZZ part in my opinion. He simply "didn't fit" after the JAZZ bring in players making it so he no longer fit. Joel did everything asked of him, including being defensive minded and stretching the floor with 3pt shooting. He had a great preseason, is super athletic, and was producing with every limited minute he was getting. Bolomboy is fun and exciting to watch, unlike Royce, Bradley, Wolters, and Griffin. I like Joel's game and potential better than Jerebko too. I hope Bolomboy get's a legit shot with the Bucks and is successful and will continue to be disappointed it won't be with the JAZZ.

Good luck Joel. I'm sad the Jazz couldn't find room for you on the roster.
