donworybhapy:The turf at Rice-Eccles was put in before the start of
the 2015 season. It’s the second time it’s been redone since 2008.
So it has very little, to absolutely nothing to do with injuries, or how old it
is. Football is a contact sport, (although the NCAA is trying to go away from
that with all the lame targeting penalties). That’s why people get hurt.
Some are more prone to injury than others. Hopefully we get some guys back this
weekend, even though I’m expecting a loss. But I also was at Oregon in
2015, and we know how that turned out. Go Utes!
I'd be relatively mum too. A lot of the injuries probably have a lot to do
with Rice Eccles playing surface. It's looks old, worn, ties up
players' cleats, and expensive to replace. I doubt that coach Whit's
preference is grass, but the decision isn't all his.
2b"So seeing how a coach in the easiest division and easiest
conference in America flat out owns your mighty Cougars. Should the Cougars fire
their entire staff?"Only a delusional Ute fan would claim that a
1-point and a 6-point win constitutes "flat out owning" ANYBODY.It's interesting that the Utes are talking about injuries affecting
their season, when our arrogant little friends on the hill are constantly
spouting their "next man up" mantra.
@Max-was-incarcerated........."Whitt is just praying he keeps
his job. What P5 coach loses 7 of 8 and still keeps his job???Not a single
one, especially one that hasn’t done squat in the easiest division in the
easiest conference in America. Time for Hill to do what he has wanted to do for
5 years and that is sending Kyle on his way."So seeing how a

not I hope the kitty cats keep that entire coaching staff in place for the next

Yes, the Utes have injury problems, but so do the Huskies and they have a lot
more at risk because they have a big Apple Cup game coming up with Washington
State. Why not rest some key players like Moss, Huntley and one or two of the
OL anlong with Carrington, Hansen, etc, so they would be fresh for Colorado?
Give some of those fresh, young linemen experience as well as the Alabama
transfer, Bateman. He has been waiting for five years to get an opportunity.
Of course this will not happen, but it was an interesting thought.
AntiChris - weak. Don’t give up your day job to pursue a career as a
Check your spelling in the title....Whittingham is spelled wrong.
If I was Whit I would forfeit the game. The Huskies will tear them up and add
to the injury list. Huntley will be eaten for lunch.U is not match
for the Washington schools, or the Arizona schools...or the California schools
for that matter. Maybe the Colorado school on a good day.
