I attended Envision Utah community meetings 20 years ago and quickly determined they were a sham. They so tightly control options that they only possibly outcome has been pre-determined.

Envision Utah is big developer, high-density, urbanized, top-down planning, disguised to look like bottoms-up, community consensus building. It is a sham.

Either that or it is a complete failure.

Consider on what has happened to the Wasatch Front (and Washington County) the last 20 years.

Is congestion better or worse? Did a billion dollars on fixed rail and eliminating express buses make it easier or harder for most people to get to work without driving?

Has the rezoning in your neighborhoods been what the majority of neighbors thought was a good idea, or was it primarily for the benefit of developers, trying to squeeze a little more profit out of every lot they could buy and then rezone to build more units on than anyone ever thought would be there?

Do you feel more or less safe in your neighborhoods than you did 20 years ago? Is there less or more litter? More or less speeding through your neighborhoods?

Envision Utah is all about duping people as their neighborhoods are damaged.

I think Envision is a non elected, pro business lobby group that tries to affect legislative decisions.

It is fantastic! We need something to partially replace Brigham Young.
