Rick, I made a few edits to your incredibly broad statement:
"Conservatives, tend on general, to make themselves the victim, dividing individuals into groups and demanding a Corporation-Government-hybrid enforced solution to any real or perceived problem. Liberals tend to seek progress in society, government, and the market place, realizing nothing is perfect but continuous progress is happening. More work is always needed but want Corporate-Government-hybrids out of the problem. "

Probably shouldn't paint our liberal or conservative brethren with too broad a brush because it's generally wrong.

For 30 years now , women have received more college degrees than men at the bachelors and masters level, probably ph.d. level too, yet surely on BA and MA level. And during the recession of 2007 to 2009, women jobs were not as in jeopardy of disappearing as men jobs. Things go through phases. Pres. Obama economic right hand man, Larry Summers, once as president of Harvard, suggested that the under-representation of women in science and engineering could be due to a "different availability of aptitude at the high end," and less to patterns of discrimination and socialization. This quote I got off google and wikipedia to be honest and clear. Mr. Summers was instrumental in bringing us out of recession so fast.

    @worf
"Liberals proclaim inequality to gain rule and control."

Is that why conservatives proclaim that Christians are being discriminated in the US these days? Or are these just disagreements about where things are at?

worf: Actually it is the other side that uses inequality to rule and control. Why else would republicans fiercely debate any sense of equality? It's all about control for the repubs, not the liberals.

Liberals proclaim inequality to gain rule and control.

Sorry folks, but there will never be equality because people are not identical to each other.

Doctors, burger flippers, football players, engineers, & auto mechanics, do not share identical skills.

Don't allow the media, and politicians to create bitterness. Be the best you can.

When you consider the history of womens rights, this survey makes perfect sense.

It took about 100 years for women to have the right to vote, nationally, after voting power was extended to "all white men", regardless of whether they owned property, by the 1830s.

It hasn't even been 100 years since the 19th Amendment was passed, in 1920.

"Liberals" are always pushing boundaries, looking for society to progress. Conservatives - by definition - seek to slow or halt that progress. It's the same on issue after issue.

Why *wouldn't* views be different based on party affiliation?

If you want to be a victim of inequality, you can find a reason to be one. If you want to look for a victim of inequality, it’s easy do do so. Neither of these achieve anything.

Please do not confuse equal rights (I am for it!) with active, ideology-based attempts to enforce the equality of outcomes.

This is not a Republican vs Democrat issue, but a conservative vs liberal issue. Liberals tend on general, to make everyone a victim, or a status of a victim, dividing individuals into groups and demanding a Govenment inforced solution to any real or precieved problem. Conservatives tend to seek progress in the market place, realizing nothing is perfect but continuous progress is happening, more work is always needed but want Govenment out of the problem. Sort of the glass is half empty for liberals and the glass is half full for conservatives.

In other words, Republicans are more likely to be misogynist? Shocking...

The FBI has different reguirements for men and women to pass their physical fitness tests. Fewer pushups, fewer situps, slower running times, etc. Probably something to do with actual physical gender inequality. Women are better at some things and men are better at other things.

Like Richard Petty said, "the only way Danica Patrick will ever win a NASCAR race is if she's competing against herself".

    Gender equality?

Who comes up with this kind of rubbish?

Men have just as much rights as women.
