    (Im)partial,

"Yeah. Hulu & Netflix are restricting their success. Netflix stock price has risen from $48.00 to $185.00 in 3 years."

What does that have to do with Tim Winter's point? He's saying they could have driven their stock price even higher than they did if they offered more family-friendly shows. You have proven nothing, except that maybe investors and Hollywood are not as clued in on other markets as they seem to think.

" “By only obsessively focusing on dark, edgy and explicit content, they are restricting their own financial success.”"

Yeah. Hulu & Netflix are restricting their success. Netflix stock price has risen from $48.00 to $185.00 in 3 years. Tim Winter seems to know what Hollywood should do to target his families. Yet, he spends his time telling Hollywood what not to do. Winter should start a production company and produce the kind of content that he's constantly telling us that America wants. If there's such a demand, he'd have investors lining up to fund him. Maybe the market isn't large enough or demanding as much as he claims.

I believe Fuller House has been the most watched series for Netflix. I think that proves the demand. It is edgier, but family friendly and fun. I guess we will see with season 3.
The remake of Anne of Green Gables was disappointing. I watched a couple of episodes, but it became too dark and disturbing. The original is the ultimate in Family viewing. I appreciate your work on behalf of families and TV.
