    The stats are like a bikini...what they reveal is enticing, but what they conceal is vital.

    Superior stats is almost always something a loser cites to argue that they were "close."

    Winners only look at the stats for what they tell them about areas of improvement.

    Wishnowsky's TD-saving, diving, shoestring tackle was another example of the will-to-win type of play that makes the difference between winning and losing and doesn't show up in the statistics.

    well stated. Love the perspective and the recognition to two players who many didn't want and how they were total game changers and winners (along with a large supporting cast).
