Hats off to these wonderful competitors; participating at all in "Ninja Warrior" requires a great deal of courage, along with great strength, great flexibility, and great motivation.

That said, I do somewhat question Ryan's statement that "[c]ompeting honestly was just fun. If you watch my runs, it brought a smile to my face just being up there doing what I love doing." The whole point of "Ninja Warrior" is to put people who think they're in shape through the kind of ordeal that persuades them they're not as fit as they thought. It's probably not "just fun" in the days following that ordeal, when competitors are nursing their many bruises (and sometimes much worse).

I don't know them personally but they appear to be "beautiful" people, inside and out. What a wonderful family!!!

The family that plays together stays together! It's great to see them having fun doing whatever they choose to do!
