I've known Darryl for years. I recently visited him in his home to ask him
about his injury and about his desire to keep running. He has ignored timetables
set by doctors. To say he's determined to get his shorts and shoes back on
is a huge understatement.
I want to know what vitamins he takes.
Great, great article, Lee Benson! Thanks.
Hat's off to Darryl Beardall and I wish him every success in the upcoming
race. His saga reminds me a bit of the late Herb Wright, of Salt Lake City, who
also ran many miles each day well into his eighties. I admire anyone with the
stamina (and good genes) to do that.
