    10-30 years for academic business success, really? Academia loves to keep getting funding to keep their programs going ad infinitum. While private business companies have to hustle and get things going in 10-30 months. USTAR is really an elite academic service, run by elite academia, primarily for academics. USTAR has primarily become just another Northern Utah government boondoggle.

    Bigger and better? Is that how you would describe cutting the number of UTAG grant awards from 22 last year to 7 this year?

    There are very dark clouds on the horizon for the Utah entrepreneurial community that we're so proud of...very dark ones. And USTAR is a big reason why.
