    I appreciate the Deseret News putting forth an article that shows the human side of the people who serve our state and our country. I serve proudly with, and for, this fine leader and believe that she has the needs of her Airmen (and families) in mind when she makes decisions that affect the security of the United States. I wish her well in her tenure.

    Sounds 'wonderful' until one considers that now mothers are going to war and we are probably headed to where women, mother or not will be forced to go to war.

    This is a dark cloud with a silver lining.

    I wish the author would have identified locations better. For example where in the world is trumbull? I found the story fascinating. Certainly not a non story.

    First woman this, and first woman that has jumped the shark. No one is surprised by a woman filling any job. It is a non story.
